We at SA BASS are constantly negotiating additional exclusive benefits for Society members.

All members have to produce a valid SA BASS membership card to qualify for any of the following benefits.
1. When you register with SA BASS Society, you will receive a membership pack, filled with products and automatically become a subscriber to the monthly SA BASS Magazine. Your twelve issues of SA BASS magazine are filled with local contents, seasonal tactics, advice for beginners, tournament reports, consumer news reports, basser profiles, etc. You will learn more about bass angling in general. Through coming to understand bass, you are able to make sense of its behaviour and to improve your own angling success.
(Current SA BASS magazine subscribers can "upgrade" their subscription and become a full SA BASS member. Please call our office during office hours, from Monday to Friday, at 012-329 9501/2 to upgrade your subscription).
2. Membership in the SA BASS MegaBass Club is open to all SA BASS members in good standing who catch, weigh and release:
- a largemouth bass weighing 3.5kg or more;
- a smallmouth bass weighing 2kg or more.
Members receive a certificate suitable for framing and an embroidered MegaBass Club Patch. The application fee is R30 to cover the cost of the MegaBass Club Patch and Certificate. Photos of bass that are suitable for publication will be published in SA BASS magazine.

3. All SA BASS members automatically qualify to register their catches on the SA BASS Records Listing in the various categories for Men, Women and Juniors (under 18yrs).

4. Members are also entitled to apply for membership of the SA BASS 100K Club, namely boats that achieve a speed of 100km/h at an organised event.
5. SA BASS members qualify for reduced entry fees at official SA BASS Seminars.
6. Only SA BASS members will be allowed to buy additional decals and badges.
8. FREE Giveaways – Society members stand a chance to win free gear in every issue of SA BASS Magazine. Look for your name to see if you are an instant winner and claim your prize.
9. SA BASS offers a range of SA BASS branded attire and accessories that has been designed to identify you as a bass angler and a member of the Society (you don't have to wear waders or carry a rod around to be recognized as a bass angler!)
